Served as Team Leader of NSU ZERO GRAVITY, the Mars Rover team of North South University, representing Bangladesh in the European Rover Challenge 2022. The official ERC archive identifies the team as a registered Bangladesh team affiliated with North South University, with 15 team members and rover name Jezero Crater.
The team brought together students from CSE, EEE and ETE backgrounds with experience in robotics, IoT, circuit design, software simulation, communication engineering, human-computer interaction and mechanical systems.
Achieved Champion recognition for an IoT-based agriculture solution designed to support farmers through soil testing and sensor-based technology.
The project focused on applying IoT and sensing technologies to agriculture, demonstrating how engineering and emerging technology can be translated into practical solutions for real-world challenges.
Participated in the 2nd Kibo Robot Programming Challenge (Kibo-RPC), an international robotics programming initiative associated with the International Space Station.
The 2nd Kibo-RPC involved teams from 11 countries and regions, including Bangladesh. Participants developed programs for Astrobee, the free-flying robot used in the Kibo module on the ISS. The final round took place in 2021.
